Accident with a gas burner: Hedge fire in Erfurt causes a lot of damage!

On Saturday afternoon, around 12:30 p.m., a violent fire broke out in Erfurt on a hedge on Gisperslebener Straße. A 31-year-old man was currently in the process of eliminating weeds with a gas burner when the fire suddenly attacked the adjacent hedge. The flame inferno damaged the hedge at several meters and left damage of around 1,000 euros.

The daring firefighters were quickly on hand to extinguish the fire and prevent worse things. Fortunately, no people were injured in this incident. The police have meanwhile started the investigation into the exact cause of the fire and takes the case seriously.
