Garbage car accident in Issum: Police are looking for fleeting cyclists!

On Monday, May 26, 2025, a remarkable traffic accident in Issum, on Hochwalder Strasse, occurred around 1:15 p.m. While a garbage truck slowly drove along the streets to empty the garbage cans, a cyclist overtook the vehicle on the right. The driver of the garbage trolley, to avoid a collision, brakes abruptly, whereby a 22-year-old employee of the waste disposal company, who was on the back of the step, lost his balance and bumped into the vehicle on the head. The young man suffered minor injuries.
