Neubiberg's schools: modernization and more care for our children!

Neubiberg plans to expand school support at primary school in order to meet the increasing demands on early childhood education and support. Mayor Thomas Pardeller (CSU) emphasizes the need to modernize the facilities and make them more flexible. The planned measures include the creation of a multi -purpose room on the ground floor, which is to be equipped with column tables, benches, individual tables and chairs. The West basement is intended for childcare facilities, while a full -time tract is to be created on the first floor. In addition, three areas of the same area are planned in the attic.

The school in Neubiberg is currently teaching 315 students. Of these, 80 children take part in an all-day class, 52 children are in the after-school care center on the Rathausplatz at the AWO, and 36 children use AWO afternoon care. This means that a total of 256 out of 315 children are around 81%, in a afternoon offer, while 59 children do not take part in afternoon care. The new offers based on the expansion of the care are an all -day class with intensive care, a haven with strict times and flexible lunch care.

financing and planning security

The costs for the conversion measures and the new equipment are estimated at around 379,200 euros. Funding is intended to reduce the costs: 6,000 euros for each newly created space and a equipment flat rate of 1,500 euros. The expansion of the care was unanimously decided by the local council. In view of the fact that a legal entitlement to all -day care for primary school children will be gradually introduced from the school year 2026/27, the decision is all the more important.

Federal Minister of Family Affairs Karin Prien emphasized in a current statement that the federal government has extended the investment program for the expansion of all -day care by the end of 2029. This is intended to give the states and municipalities more planning security for the extensive expansion of all -day offers at primary schools. A total of up to 3.5 billion euros are available for this. The aim is to ensure by 2029 that each elementary school child of classes 1 to 4 is entitled to an all -day place. This is considered an important signal to support political will formation in relation to the nationwide implementation of all -day care.

quality through rhythmization

Another aspect for successful all -day care is the rhythmization of the lessons and offers. This includes the change between concentration and relaxation phases and between theoretical and practical learning. Experts emphasize that in bound all -day schools by closer cooperation between educators and teachers, educational attendance can be better offset. Such schools make it possible to better link teaching and all -day offers, which leads to a more pleasant and effective learning environment.

The challenges that exist when expanding all -day places can be found in various examples from Germany. The elementary school on Buntentorsteinweg in Bremen, for example, introduced the bound full day in 2002, while the primary school on the Süsteresch in Lower Saxony works as an open all -day school. Both schools have developed their own setups to meet local requirements, but there are still difficulties in relation to the personal framework and the equipment of the facilities.

Overall, the planned expansion of school support in Neubiberg is not only a local project, but part of a broader strategy to improve educational offers in Germany, which is shaped by state support and comprehensive concepts for rhythmization and integration. This step towards more full -time places is also seen as a possibility to meet the needs of modern society for flexible and high -quality care.
