58-year-old arrested when entering the Niederrhein Airport!

late Monday evening, May 26, 2025, the federal police arrested a 58-year-old Italian at Niederrhein Airport in Weeze. The man who had traveled from Bari with a flight was suspected of money laundering and was sought due to a ceremony of the Cologne public prosecutor's office.

After checking his ID and a comparison in the police databases, he was arrested directly on site. On Tuesday morning, the Federal Police showed the judge to open the arrest warrant.
