In the night from Friday to Saturday, a dramatic incident occurred in Malsfeld: A 19-year-old driver has strayed from the street under the influence of alcohol or drugs and caused several damage. Previously, he had touched a properly parked car, the rear bumper and parts of the body being damaged.

Shortly afterwards, the young man lost control of his vehicle, which landed in the ditch when driving between Mosheim and Falkenberg. The emergency function of his smartwatch was activated, which attracted an ambulance to the scene of the accident. An attentive taxi driver saw the accident and held the driver until the police arrived. The driver refused a breath alcohol test, but had to be taken to a hospital to take blood after first medical care.

Against him, a procedure for drivers and drunkenness in traffic was initiated. Since he is still in the trial period, he not only threatens a license withdrawal, but also a psychological-medical examination.
