Alcohol giant in Leinefelde: Police stops drunk drivers!

In the night of Sunday, May 25, 2025, the state operations center in Erfurt received concerns about several highly alcoholic men who wanted to drive home after a celebration. The officers of the Eichsfeld police inspection immediately sent a team to Leinefelde, where they actually met five people who had already taken a seat in their vehicle.

The men were clearly drunk, so the police immediately intervened: the vehicle keys were secured to prevent worse things. These are given to the people affected again after the sober. Another possible traffic accident was thus successfully averted!
