Alcohol and resistance: 23-year-old ensures police operation in Gefell

On Thursday evening there was a dramatic incident in Gefell: a 23-year-old man attacked the police while she wanted to settle a dispute during a celebration on Hofer Strasse. As the State Police Inspection Saalfeld reported, the man initially insulted the officials before he violently resisted their measures.

The police then had to file several advertisements against the alcoholic man. He had a blood alcohol content of over 1.8 per thousand and was finally taken to the hospital. The incident shows once again how quickly a festive evening can turn into chaos - and that alcohol can not only influence the mood, but also the behavior!
