Change of office in the police headquarters: Wiegand goes, Stippich comes!

Osthessen, Deutschland - In East Hesse, the department director of the police, Theo Wiegand, started his well -deserved retirement after 45 years of service. At a solemn farewell, led by police president Michael Tegethoff and the provisional state police vice president Felix Paschek, Wiegand was recognized for his relevant contributions to the Hessian police. Wiegand, who headed the deployment and represented over 1,000 colleagues and 450,000 citizens, looked back proud of his career. "The collegial approach was always a highlight," says the 61-year-old, who is now planning more time for family and leisure.

Dirk Stippich, who is now succeeding Wiegand, will take over the management of the department. Stipich, an experienced criminal director, has already become familiar with the East Hesse police headquarters and is looking forward to the new challenges - including the Hessentag 2026 in Fulda. So there will certainly be no boredom under his leadership, while East Hesse looks at an exciting future.
