On Saturday morning and on the A20 between Sanitz and Ticino, a dramatic rear -end collision occurred, which resulted in property damage of around 20,000 euros. At around 9 a.m., a 21-year-old Mercedes driver wanted to overtake towards Szczecin, but was distracted on the left lane by a faster-moving car. When she had to slow down, she crashed into the Nissan vehicle in front.

In the collision, both cars were destroyed: the Mercedes crashed into the middle protection plank, while the Nissan was thrown off the road, overturned and landed in the banquet. The Nissan driver suffered minor injuries and was brought to the Südstadtklinikum in Rostock. An alcohol test by the person who caused the accident showed no abnormalities. The rescue work at the scene of the accident was completed at around 1 p.m.
