Tree falls on the street: Hünxe fire brigade in use in storm damage!

In the early morning hours of May 31, 2025, at 3:43 a.m., the Hünxe volunteer fire brigade was alerted due to a storm damage. In the Schloßallee in the Gartrop-Bühl district, a tree fell and blocked the street, which required immediate measures.

The fire brigade moved out and removed the tree using the cable winch of the armored car. After the successful clearance, the road was also cleaned by leaves and branches. The entire use was successfully completed after about 40 minutes, and the road is freely accessible again.
