In the night from June 4, 2025, there was an incident on Autobahn 1 near Reeßum when parts of a construction site protection were thrown onto the road. This led to several accidents, but fortunately everyone involved was not injured. The highway had to be completely blocked for several hours while the police examined the situation.

The investigation runs under the direction of the Central Criminal Service of the Heidekreis police inspection. Possible witnesses or persons with information on suspicious vehicles are asked to report to the police on 05191-93800.
