In a spectacular incident in Oberhausen, a 38-year-old cyclist was checked by the police on Sunday evening at the roundabout on Weseler Strasse. The man, visibly drunk and with a facial injury, reacted aggressively and insulted the officials. Despite the request, he refused to indicate his personal details.

When the police tried to search him, the cyclist hit an official in the face. As a result, the law enforcement officers had to bring him to the ground and secure them with handcuffs. The situation escalated in a very short time while the police brought the man under control.
