Fraud in old age: 93-year-old victim of false police officers in Dormagen!

On Saturday, May 24th, a 93-year-old senior from Dormagen received a perfidious call from an unknown fraudster. The caller claimed that the pensioner's EC card was blocked and must now be checked. Tragic and scandalous: an unknown man then picked up the card and booked money from the seniors' account!

The police describe the pick -up as male, between 20 and 30 years old, with dark hair and sporty figure. It is about 180 centimeters tall and has an oval, round face. These fraudulent machinations are not new, the perpetrators often spend the false police officers or bank employees in order to get their victims' money. The police warn: be suspicious, simply put on in case of doubt and verify such calls from your bank or the police. Protect yourself from these unscrupulous fraudsters!
