On Wednesday evening, a young man in Itzehoe was victim of a brazen fraud in the parking lot of a discounter on Lindenstrasse. Two supposed employees of a charitable organization spoke to him and asked for a donation. Comfortable, the 19-year-old handed over a sum of 20 euros without distrust.

But during his subsequent shopping, the man came across the real employee of the aid organization and learned shocked that he had been cheated.
