Experiment in Viersen: Attentive bank employees save senior citizens!

A 79-year-old senior citizen from Viersen was victims of an attempt to fraud on Tuesday morning, which an attentive bank employee was able to prevent. The older lady received a call from a supposed son who was supposedly in the hospital and urgently needed a special medication - for an incredible 22,000 euros! Completely unsettled, she immediately made her way to the bank to withdraw the money.

When she stepped to the switch, the employee was suspicious. She immediately recognized the attempted fraud and alerted the police. After a telephone contact with the real son, it became clear that the senior citizen would be fell into the trap. This situation underlines how cleverly criminal older people put pressure on the money. The police urgently warn against it and call on to educate friends and family members about such fraud stitches.
