Drunk drivers overrun e-scooter driver: seriously injured!

On Wednesday evening, June 11, 2025, there was a serious traffic accident in Wilhelmstrasse in Saarwellingen. A 65-year-old woman from Saarlouis wanted to turn her car into the street to the Breitwies and overlooked the priority of a 49-year-old man from Nalbach, who was traveling in the opposite direction with his e-scooter.

The collision was violent: the man was thrown to the ground by impact and suffered serious injuries. After a quick initial care, he was immediately taken to the hospital. The police have already initiated criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm to the traveling lady.
