Drunken driver leaves the accident site: children in the car injured!

On Sunday evening there was a dramatic accident on the country road from Oberhof towards Schmücke. A 40-year-old driver lost control of her vehicle in a curve and crashed into a tree stump. Despite the severity of the incident, the driver left the scene of the accident together with her four passengers, including children between the ages of 6, 12 and 16.

The police were able to find the driver later. A breath alcohol test showed alarming 1.7 per thousand! As a result, two blood samples were carried out in the clinic and their driver's license was ensured. Fortunately, all occupants only suffered minor injuries, but the property damage to the vehicle amounts to around 25,000 euros. The accident car was secured by the police. A terrifying example of the dangers of alcohol at the wheel!
