Drunk driver causes excitement on A1 near Wildeshausen!

On Friday, May 30, 2025, a 52-year-old driver from the Netherlands was displayed by an attentive road user on Autobahn 1 near Wildeshausen, towards Hamburg. The driver maneuvered his car in dangerous snake lines and was threatening to the outer protection out of the outer protection schedule several times.

In the subsequent traffic control, the police officers found a strong smell of alcohol. A breath alcohol test resulted in a value of 1.18 per thousand. The driver is now facing an investigation towards drunkenness in road traffic, while the removal of a blood sample was necessary. He was also withdrawn from the driver's license.
