A 39-year-old man from Heidelberg caused a spectacular traffic accident on the K26/B39 in Hanhofen West on the night from Saturday to Sunday. With his BMW 330 he raced head -on into the central island of the roundabout and left a picture of the destruction - the vehicle was badly damaged and stopped centrally on the traffic island. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed, but the consequences of his recklessness are serious.

When the police recording, it turned out that the man had a breath alcohol concentration of almost 2 per thousand.
