on Königsfelder Straße broke out a fire last night at 8:50 p.m. when a dramatic deflection took place in the engine compartment during repair work on a boat. The owner, a 39-year-old, tried bravely to extinguish the fire himself, suffered minor injuries.

The volunteer fire brigades from Rings and Hoogstede hurried to the site and were able to fought the fire successfully. The property damage amounts to around 10,000 euros.
