on Whit Monday, June 9, 2025, a devastating fire broke out in Kamminke around 1:00 p.m. In Wieckstraße there was a habitable dandruff and a combined carport with a workshop in flames, while the adjacent main house was also seriously affected. Thanks to the rapid reaction of the fire brigade, which was used with four fire trucks, a spread of the fire to a neighboring thatched roof house could be prevented.

The damage amounts to around 100,000 euros. Three people were slightly injured in the extinguishing work, including an 85-year-old resident and her 56-year-old son, who had to be taken to the hospital. A 62-year-old neighbor suffered slight smoke poisoning, but was treated on an outpatient basis. The criminal police have started the investigation into suspected serious arson and will use a fire -caused investigator on June 10th.
