On Saturday evening, May 24th, the fire brigade in the old district of Hersfeld had to deploy twice. At around 9:40 p.m., a house fire in Ludwigsau-Friedlos was registered. Residents alerted the rescue control center, but when the emergency services arrived, the fire was already deleted thanks to a brave neighbor.
The cause was probably a short circuit that inflamed the table lamp of an older lady on the balcony. The fire spread to some decorative items, but was quickly under control. Fortunately, there were no personal injuries or significant building damage, only low property damage occurred.| Details | |
