Arsung in Güstrow: Audi A6 in flames - police are looking for witnesses!

In the night of Monday, around 2:30 a.m., an Audi A6 in Güstrow was presumably set on fire. Unknown perpetrators lit the vehicle and fled in the dark. Local residents became aware of the fire through loud crackling noises and immediately alerted the volunteer fire brigade and the police. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the flames could be spread to other objects, but the interior of the car was completely destroyed. The total damage amounts to at least 40,000 euros.

The criminal police have now started an investigation into deliberate arson and asks the population for clues. People who have made suspicious observations between 2:00 a.m. and 03:00 are urgently asked to report to the police on 03843 2660 or the police. The secured traces at the fire location are currently being evaluated.
