Brutal attack on Paradeplatz: man injured, perpetrator on the run!

On Sunday afternoon, a 54-year-old man was victim of a brutal attack on Paradeplatz in Mannheim. While he was sitting on a paragraph to the green area, he was attacked by a previously unknown perpetrator who hit him and kicked several times. The injured party suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.

The attacker then fled on foot and could be described by witnesses as follows: male, about 170 cm tall, with tattooed arms, dressed in a white t-shirt and a straw hat with a blue edge.

The Mannheim city police have started the investigation into dangerous bodily harm and is looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident. Anyone who has information is asked to report on 0621 1258-0.
