Federal police stop family outing: 12,500 euros for fake papers!

On Sunday, June 1st, the Federal Police took up three Syrian travelers at the Hörbranz border crossing (BAB 96) who tried to illegally enter Germany with fake Italian ID cards. The group, consisting of a 22-year-old, his 24-year-old sister and her six-year-old son, was immediately sent back to Austria and documented with a re-entrance lock.

The control in the long -distance coach from Turin to Nuremberg brought the fake documents to light. The adults stated that they have been living in Turkey since 2014 and now wanted to travel to Germany to relatives. The family is said to have paid astonishing 12,500 euros to unknown smugglers for illegal smuggling and the fake papers and tickets.
