officers from the Lübeck water protection police discovered serious violations at the harbor at the end of May! Two massive transformers, each with around 280 tons, were handled under the use of a heavy -duty crane, which weighs around 750 tons. The load limit of the port of around 1,000 tons was clearly exceeded - and without the necessary approval!

Although stormy weather prevailed, the envelope was continued under observation. But that's not all: the client did not issue any dangerous goods documents for sea transport. This already results in an administrative offense procedure. The registration of the dangerous goods to the port authority was also inadequate. The water protection police emphasize the importance of compliance with all regulations for security in the port and announces consistent measures against the violation!
