On Thursday evening, May 29, 2025, there were several traffic accidents in Bonn-Mehlem, in which an emergency doctor and a patrol car were involved. The incident occurred at the intersection of Gernotstraße and Utestrasse at 7:17 p.m. when the emergency doctor's vehicle was on the road with flashing lights and Martinshorn.

In the collision with a car, a total of five people were injured, including the driver of the emergency doctor, an emergency doctor and the driver of the car. The driver of the emergency car and the 62-year-old taxi driver have to answer for suspected negligent killing, since both of them may have been too fast at the time of the accident.
