Roof fire in Rüsselsheim: 100 residents evacuated, all unharmed!

on Thursday evening, June 5, a fire broke out on the roof of a residential complex in Eisenstrasse in Rüsselsheim at 6:15 p.m. Immediate emergency calls alerted the fire brigade, which was able to quickly intervene with the support of workers present. It still has to be determined whether the fire is associated with ongoing work on the roof.

In the meantime, around 100 residents from the building were evacuated and safely brought to a nearby playground. Fortunately, there were no injuries. Around 7:30 p.m., the residents were able to return to their apartments after the fire was extinguished. The police, emergency services and fire brigade were on -site, which ensured security in close cooperation. The investigation takes over the specialist commissioner K10 of the Groß-Gerau police department.
