Thief in the march: wave of burglaries shakes Neustadt!

In a series of burglaries in Neustadt on Wednesday, June 11th, unknown perpetrators have targeted several houses and shops. In Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße, a thief came across the cellar door into a residential building and captured cash, cigarettes and a bank card that was used to carry out several unauthorized payments. The amount of the overall damage is still unclear. The police are calling witnesses to report if they have observed suspicious activities.

At the same time, two masked perpetrators violently entered a restaurant on Barfüßerstrasse, where they stole two smartphones and spirits worth around 350 euros. They also caused property damage of around 100 euros at the entrance door. Video surveillance shows the two men: one was tall and slim, the other stronger with a full beard. In addition, a single-family house was entered by a damaged terrace door in Wilhelm-Roser-Straße, with thieves stole at least 300 euros and also caused an estimated damage of 750 euros.
