On Sunday, June 8, 2025, a shocking traffic accident occurred on Kahlenbecker Straße in Ennepetal. The fire brigade was alerted with a city alarm because it was initially assumed that several people were caught in a crashed car. Fortunately, the four occupants were able to leave the accident car unharmed.

The fire brigade was quickly on hand: a total of 42 emergency services were mobilized, including the full -time guard and the extinguishing of Voerde and Külchen. The injuries received immediate first aid and were then transported to a hospital. In the meantime, the burning car was quickly deleted to avoid further dangers. The fire brigade ended at 3:05 a.m., while the police and emergency services were also on site.
