A serious traffic accident occurred on June 7, 2025 at around 8:15 a.m. on the L10 when a 28-year-old man from the Bitburg community drove from Adenau towards Nohn. After a risky overtaking maneuver, the driver lost control of his car because he was traveling at an excessive speed, and overturned several times.

The man suffered moderate injuries and had to be flown to the hospital with a rescue helicopter. The DRK, a rescue helicopter and the Daun police were on site.
