In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, June 4, 2025, a devastating fire broke out in the Travetal allotment garden association in Lübeck. Passers -by alerted the fire brigade at around 11:00 p.m. when they discovered flames and smoke on the site on the Ringreiterweg. A gazebo burned down completely, and loud bright noises were perceived that could come from possibly explosive camping gas bottles. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
