on Monday, May 26, 2025, chaos broke out in Grossenkneten on Autobahn 1! Around 1:20 p.m., during a violent rain shower, two spectacular traffic accidents occurred. A 39-year-old tractor from the Verden district collided with a VW that was controlled by a 41-year-old man from the Tecklenburg region. Both road users ignored the dangerous conditions on the slippery road and lost control of their vehicles.

The two cars slid against the protective planks between the Ahlhorn triangle and the Wildeshausen-West junction. Fortunately, it remained in property damage, but the terrifying images show how crucial, adapted driving is in extreme weather conditions. The police and emergency services were immediately on site to control the situation.
