Dramatic dispute at the main train station: dog owners strikes!

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, a dispute in front of a grocery store at Halle Central Station (Saale) escalated. At 6:27 p.m., a witness informed the federal police about the argument that broke out due to a leashed dog. The dog owner, a 39-year-old, finally hit the face of a 46-year-old after a verbal argument in the business.

The federal police quickly arrived at the scene and took a look at the injured man and several witnesses. The perpetrator was brought to the Federal Police Revier Halle (Saale) for identity assessment, where he received a criminal complaint for assault. A breath alcohol test carried out resulted in a value of 0.24 per thousand. Fortunately, the victim did not wore serious injuries.
