Dramatic accident on A1: Car crashes against the wall in the construction site area!

In the early hours of Monday, June 2, 2025, the fire brigade was alerted to a traffic accident on the A1 motorway at 2:23 a.m. A serious accident occurred in the construction site area between the Wuppertal North motorway junction and the Langerfeld junction in the direction of Cologne. A car had come to a standstill against the direction of travel on the left lane and showed considerable damage.

Fasters were quickly mobilized by the fire brigade and emergency services in order to clarify the unclear situation and to secure the site. The driver of the car was medically examined by the emergency services. After completing the measures, the fire brigade handed over the site to the motorway police, which ended the deployment for the fire brigade.
