Dramatic scenes in Erkrath: On Saturday afternoon the fire brigade was challenged three times! Already at 2:23 p.m., a kitchen fire was reported on the third floor of an apartment building on Kreuzstrasse. When the emergency services arrived, the kitchen was on fire. Fortunately, the resident had left the building in time, and a respiratory protection squad was able to quickly control the fire.
