Three trucks crash on A45: Fire brigade prevents environmental disaster!

After a serious traffic accident on the A45 in the direction of Oberhausen travel, several saddle tractors were involved in a collision at around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Contrary to the original reports, no car was involved, and luckily nobody was caught. The three saddle trains suffered massive damage, which caused engine oil and other operating substances to emit uncontrollably.

Fire brigade Dortmund fire brigade and the emergency services immediately reacted to the scene of the accident in order to minimize the risk of environmental damage. A total of up to 19 emergency services were on site, including from the fire station 9 (Mengede) and the environmental guard 8 in Eichlinghofen. At 2:22 p.m., the firefighters were able to successfully complete their measures and hand over the site to the police. Thanks to the quick action, greater environmental damage was prevented.
