The brazen thieves struck twice over the Pentecost weekend. On June 6th, a company in Stemwede-Twiehausen deployed its Sany mini excavator on the construction site in the “Alter Postweg” street. But when the work was to be resumed on June 10th, the excavator and his trailer, a Brain James Trailer, disappeared without a trace!

At the same time, a civil engineering company on Schnathorster Straße in Hüllhorst also discovered a mini excavator from the Wacker Neuson brand as stolen. The police are now investigating in high pressure to grasp the perpetrators and get the stolen machines back. The hunt for the unscrupulous thieves has started - it remains to be hoped that they will be quickly caught!
