Drugs at the wheel: Police caught drivers with fake urine!

On Tuesday, June 3, the police carried out stationary traffic controls in Korbach and Twistetal. Under the motto "Alcohol and drugs in road traffic", the measures were all about traffic safety. The officers felt two drivers who were under the influence of drugs. Particularly spectacular: One of the perpetrators tried to deceive control with "fake urine", but the police remained suspicious and carried out another test-which was clearly positive for cannabis. During the subsequent search of the vehicle, the police found the fake urine.

In addition, the officers discovered false license plates on a vehicle and started the trail of two drivers without a valid driving license. The controllers were mostly received positively by the road users. The police warn: the effect of drugs is often underestimated, and those who have consumed should do without driving for several days. In view of the numerous suspicious drivers who have not yet noticed, the police are planning further controls to combat alcohol and drug offenses in road traffic.
