In a dramatic police operation in Bremen-Bürglesum on Wednesday evening, two men aged 21 and 22 were temporarily arrested after being suspected of acting with drugs. At 4:05 p.m., civilian emergency services observed how the men probably bought drugs from a BMW. When the police wanted to control the vehicle, the 22-year-old raced away and endangered several passers-by.

However, the officials were able to intervene quickly and held the 21-year-old in front of an apartment in Lesum. With him, over 600 grams of cannabis, a considerable amount of cash, as well as a baseball bat, sharp ammunition and pepper spray were discovered. He also carried a small amount of cocaine. The police made criminal charges against both men and continue to determine in the case.
