Searching drugs for handmade: Metamphetamine discovered in Oberhausen apartment

On Thursday morning, the Oberhausen police received an emergency call for an assault in an apartment on Ruprechtstrasse in Lirich. Two patrol cars moved out and met the 41-year-old apartment tenant and guests. It turned out that there was a mutual discussion between the tenant and a visitor, which is why the officials took the investigation.

During the factual recording, the police discovered indications of drug use. A search decision by the Duisburg public prosecutor's office led to an immediate search of the apartment, in which syringes, fake drug utensils and 38 grams of methamphetamine were ensured. The 41-year-old will soon have to face criminal proceedings because of the drug possession.
