In the night of Wednesday, June 11, 2025, there was a spectacular accident on the duty -free federal road 317. A 28-year-old driver who was apparently intoxicated lost control of his vehicle. He raced in the direction of Lörrach, touched a protective bank and overturned before the car stayed on the right side of the vehicle on the opposite lane.

Fortunately, the driver was unharmed, but a drug racing test resulted in positive results on cocaine and THC. Accordingly, he was taken to the hospital, where a blood sample was carried out. During the accident recording, the federal road had to be blocked in both directions, and a towing service took care of the damaged car. Information on the property damage incurred is still pending.
