Drug transport in sight: Police Gifhorn strikes for traffic control!
Gifhorn, Deutschland - The Gifhorn police carried out a massive traffic control on June 10, 2025, in which over 100 drivers were checked. The controls were focused on a possible influence by drugs and took place at two locations in the city. The shock: A 26-year-old tried to manipulate a drug test with a fake urine and now has to answer for negligent drunkenness in road traffic. In addition, two other men, aged 24 and 42, were caught without a driver's license - they also face legal consequences.
But that wasn't all! In a total of eleven other drivers, indications of drug use were found, which led to further blood samples. In a particularly brazen case, a 32-year-old, who was blown up during the check, was discovered shortly afterwards in Gifhorn with a second key in his vehicle. He is also asked to checkout. A total of 14 drivers were prohibited from continuing and the vehicle key was secured. The police also perceived 46 other violations, including lack of compulsory equipment and the disregard for requirements. This raid shows shocking grievances in road traffic and underlines the use of the police against drugs and illegal driving!
