Dark car fled on Wartburgstrasse in an accident - witnesses wanted!

The Recklinghausen police are in the hunt for the driver of a dark car, which was involved in an accident on Wartburgstrasse on Wednesday evening, around 10:10 p.m. According to initial information, the 19-year-old cyclist from Castrop-Rauxel was traveling with his pedelec when the vehicle drove past him very close. The cyclist could no longer dodge in time and fell, suffering minor injuries.

The driver of the allegedly black car continued after the incident, without taking care of the injured cyclist. The police ask for information from witnesses who have seen the accident or the vehicle they are looking for. Information can be reported on 0800/2361 111.
