Erlanger Allee, 07747 Jena, Deutschland - The police in Jena once again carried out increased traffic controls at the weekend, in which the focus was on alcohol and drug violations. A 36-year-old e-scooter driver was stopped in Erlangen Allee. A rapid drug test was positive, whereupon a blood sample was arranged.

The driver now threatens a juicy fine of several hundred euros, provided that the blood result confirms the suspicion. The campaign illustrates the tireless efforts of the police to increase traffic safety and combat drug abuse in road traffic.
