E-scooter crash in Rheda: driver under drugs, police intervened!

On Tuesday evening, May 27th, a dramatic incident occurred in Rheda-Wiedenbrück: a 19-year-old e-scooter river fell while turning from the main street into the Wieksweg. Officials from the police who observed the accident immediately provided first aid and noticed that the driver had not attached any insurance license plates. Despite his claim to be unharmed, the young man showed nervous and aggressive behavior that caused drug use.

The police decided to bring the driver to the police station to carry out a drug rime test. The officials suffered minor injuries in the incident, but were still able to work. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the driver, and since the e-scooter was not approved in Germany, the vehicle was secured.
