In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, May 29, 2025, there was a spectacular slump into the Realschule Plus in Dudenhofen around 00:30 a.m. The perpetrator, a 19-year-old from Speyer, broke into the school building by punching a window pane. Nothing was stolen after initial investigations, but the burglar was injured and left a blood trace. An attentive witness observed the incident and was able to provide valuable information about the perpetrator.

The suspect was taken nearby thanks to comprehensive search measures. His clothes were smeared in blood and he had suffered a wound on his hand. In addition, the young man was obviously under the influence of drugs. During the search, the officials not only found coin money, but also a credit card that could not be assigned to him.
