In the night of Sunday, June 8, 2025, a group of unknown perpetrators broke into a drugstore chain on Gereonstrasse and stole a safe. Between 04:14 and 4:28 a.m., the burglars managed to gain violently access to the office space. A security company discovered the slump and alerted the police, who immediately secured traces on site.
