In a shocking incident in Soltau, unknown perpetrators tried to break into a shopping center on Westerfeld between 23 and 26 May 2025. The criminals climbed onto the roof and tried to open it by force, but could not penetrate the shops. However, their missed attempt led to considerable damage: rainwater penetrated the damage and caused damage of around 2000 euros. The Soltau police are urgently looking for witnesses and asks for information on 05191/9380-0.

In the meantime, illegal cannabis cultivation was discovered in Neuenkirchen. Walkers came across several cannabis plants that were then secured. The police are investigating and accepting information on the owner at 05195/933970. In addition, a mountain bike of the Cube brand was stolen in Soltau when it was parked in front of a house on Beethovenstrasse between Saturday from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Finally, a regular bus at the bus station on Ernst-Perell-Straße was also damaged in Munster with graffiti. Witnesses are asked to report on 05192-960-0.
