in Ganderkese Bookholzberg, a spectacular slump into a bakery occurred on the night of June 6, 2025. Unknown perpetrators pried open a door and stole a safe with cash, which led to a total damage of over 2,000 euros. The police asks possible witnesses to contact the police station in Wildeshausen when information.
The same day around 9:30 p.m. there was a serious traffic accident in Ganderkese-Heide. A 44-year-old man collided with his Audi in a left curve against a tree after coming off the road. The man was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital. Witnesses who have observed a possible previous accident are also asked to report.
In addition, there was a slump into the Harpstedt high school on the night of June 6th, in which perpetrators put several doors and, in addition to cash, also stole several iPads - the damage amounts to around 3,000 euros. Another criminal offense occurred between 1:15 and 1:30 a.m. when strangers tried to set fire to a speed measuring trailer on Bassumer Strasse. The police have started the investigation in all cases and is looking for witnesses.
